Awesome combination product. Better than Timex version.
This little (inexpensive) item does a lot. First of all it is a rechargable LED flashlight you leave hanging in an outlet so it is always charged. It is an "ok" flashlight.
If you slide the switch to nightlight it is an automatic nightlight (comes on when the room is dark). In this mode the light will also come on when the power goes out. In a blackout your nightlights will automatically kick on.
This one is better than the nearly identical timex model. The nightlight on this brand is white instead of amber. Also the exterior is more plain and looks better on the wall.
Tough to beat this thing for $12.

Fairly good at what it does.
I bought this to illuminate dark areas on my stairs which have no electrical outlet nearby for safe passage at night.
The LED light is certainly bright enough to illuminate the stairs at night for safe passage. in fact my lovely wife complains it's TOO bright. It will last far longer than a fluorescent or incandescent bulb and will give more illumination bang for the battery-life buck than either of those. So LED is a good choice for this application.
The range is around 10 feet which is minimally acceptable for my purposes but certainly good for a closet.
Two things that are less than ideal for my purposes:
The motion detector cannot "see" motion that is above the plane of the sensor. So you can't put it on the landing below and expect it to illuminate the stairs when you descend from above.
The light sensor is not sensitive enough so that the little bugger still illuminates during the day despite regular houselights being on. Not a problem but rather wasteful.
It would also be nice if the motion sensor could be rotated to point away from the light but that's asking too much for such a reasonably priced item.
All in all if you need to intermittently spot-illuminate an area without an outlet this will do the trick.

3 out of 4 failed
Love the lights especially the frosted lens but 3 out of the 4 I bought have failed and don't work anymore within 2months. Called company and I have to return the items to them for the replacement - ridiculous since it costs as much to send the lights to Maxxima than to just go buy a new one. In short Great Product but poor quality control.

Making the Night Light!I like these nightlights. I have one in every room except the bedroom and they light up the place so I can walk around.
The light sensors don't turn them off unless the light is really bright and near the unit but I understand that those light sensors get more sensitive with time.
They have 2 places where the light goes out. A round circle covered with a "defuser" which spreads the light out evenly in a circle and a smaller oval with a "grate" over it which sends the light out as if it was shining through bars. I put the circle down toward the carpet to cut down on the glare off the ceiling and walls.
The 360° rotation allows you to send the light in any direction.

GE 50723 Motion Sensor Night LiteThis light is by far the best sensor motion night lite I've ever used (and I've used several). I already had a couple from several years back but couldn't find additional ones in the stores. So glad I found them on Amazon! What makes these lights great is that 1)they put out a good amount of light 2)the sensor field is about 180 degrees so they pick up movement before you are standing directly in front of the light. Terrific product. If I find any other place that needs another light I'll definitely order more.

Much More Comfortable than MBTsI bought my first pair of MBTs a few months ago to wear to work and on weekends. Then I bought another pair of MBTs. Then I bought a pair of Sketchers Shape-Ups for weekends. The Sketchers are much more comfortable and seem like they will last much longer than the MBTs and they are not nearly as ugly. On my first pair of MBTs the elastic that connects the leather straps over my arch to the side of the shoe is fraying and coming apart. The second pair of MBTs while the same size as the first pair are much too small in the toe area especially on the right foot. I am in pain if I wear those for too long. The Sketchers are extremely comfortable.
People have remarked that my posture improves immediately when I put on the MBTs or Sketchers and that I seem younger when I wear them. I already loved to walk but I can walk much farther in the Sketchers without any kind of foot pain. It seems I get less fatigued walking in Sketchers than my normal tennis shoes. I am losing weight in my thighs butt and lower abdomen. I am almost down a pants size. However I have started eating Fucoprotein bars for breakfast when I am at work so that might also be part of the reason for the weight loss.
